At Ohmyoga on Vesterbro in Copenhagen, we offer Hot Yoga Flow classes where dynamic movement, strength and mindful breathing come together in a heated yoga studio. Practicing in warmth helps the muscles release more easily, increases flexibility and allows the body to move more freely while reducing tension.
Hot Yoga Flow takes place in a studio heated to around 39°C (102°F). The heat allows the body to move deeper into the poses, improve flexibility and reduce stiffness, while helping the muscles work more efficiently throughout the practice.
During a Hot Yoga Flow class, you move through fluid sequences designed to build strength, balance and mobility. The practice often includes standing postures, balance work and continuous transitions that keep the body warm and the mind focused.
Like other Vinyasa-style yoga classes, Hot Yoga Flow strengthens the entire body. You actively engage the core, legs, glutes and upper body, building strength through bodyweight movements while maintaining control and body awareness in every transition.
Breath is central to the flow. Each movement is guided by inhalation and exhalation, creating a rhythm that makes the practice both energizing and meditative. This connection between breath and movement supports mental clarity, focus and presence.
Sweating during Hot Yoga practice supports circulation and often creates a feeling of release and renewal. Many students leave class feeling lighter, energized and more connected to their body.

What is Hot Yoga good for?
Hot Yoga is beneficial for those who want increased flexibility, strength, and stability. The heated room makes it easier to move deeper into the poses while also raising your heart rate and making you sweat, which can create a light detox-like effect. Hot Yoga is also ideal for relaxation and stress reduction because the heat helps the body release tension. It is an effective practice for both body and mind, especially during the colder months.
