Reformer Pilates for beginners in Copenhagen

Reformer Beginner is a 4-week introductory course in Reformer Pilates, designed for anyone looking for a supportive and confidence-building start to their Pilates journey.

Throughout the course, you'll be introduced to the Reformer and the fundamental principles of Pilates at a comfortable pace, with plenty of time to learn, ask questions and progress. You'll develop a solid understanding of technique while improving your posture, breathing and quality of movement, all while building strength, stability and body awareness.

New to Reformer Pilates? You're in the right place

When you join Reformer Beginner at Ohmyoga in Copenhagen, you get much more than an introduction to the Reformer.

Over four weeks, you’ll attend a dedicated course with the same group of participants, creating a supportive and encouraging environment where you can learn, build confidence and progress at your own pace.

Throughout the course, you’ll do more than simply learn the exercises. You’ll gain an understanding of the principles behind Pilates, helping you build a strong foundation that will prepare you for our open Reformer classes.

As part of the course, you’ll also receive 5 additional class credits, giving you the opportunity to explore our regular timetable while you’re still attending the programme. This allows you to gain extra practice and experience, making the transition from beginner to open classes both natural and confidence-building.

You’ll become part of our beautiful boutique studio on Vesterbro, where small class sizes, personalised instruction and experienced teachers create the ideal environment for learning. Throughout the course, your instructor will guide you with individual feedback, hands-on corrections where appropriate and expert support every step of the way.

Each session lasts 75 minutes and is taught by a certified Reformer Pilates instructor in English.

REFORMER PILATES COPENHAGEN - WHAT IS REFORMER PILATES?

Reformer Pilates is a full-body workout that combines strength, stability, mobility and body awareness using a specially designed Reformer machine with adjustable springs. The springs provide both support and resistance, allowing each exercise to be tailored to your individual needs while offering a low-impact yet highly effective way to strengthen the body.

Unlike traditional strength training, Reformer Pilates isn’t about lifting heavy weights or completing endless repetitions. Instead, the focus is on precision, control and quality of movement. The result is a practice that builds strength from the inside out, improves posture and balance, and develops a deeper understanding of how your body moves.
