Yin Yoga Teacher Training at Ohm Yoga on Vesterbro– 65 Hours

Do you want to dive deeper into the calm yet powerful world of Yin Yoga – while building a solid understanding of the body? At Ohm Yoga on Vesterbro in Copenhagen, we offer a 65-hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training, where you will explore both practice, anatomy, and energy work. The training takes place over 3 weekends in October and November 2026 and is designed for those who want to teach with greater confidence, professionalism, and presence – or take their own practice to the next level.

A Practice with Depth and Understanding

Yin Yoga may appear simple – but it holds great complexity.

During the training, we work with a functional approach to the body, allowing space for individual differences. You will learn how bodies vary and how to adapt poses to suit each individual.

We combine classical Yin Yoga with knowledge of:

  • functional anatomy
  • connective tissue and fascia
  • natural movement patterns
  • energy systems and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)

So you don’t just learn what to do – but why it works.

Anatomy and the Body in Practice

A key part of the Yin Yoga Teacher Training is understanding the body from within. You will gain insight into:

  • how connective tissue (fascia) responds to Yin Yoga
  • skeletal structure and muscle groups
  • the difference between tension (stretch) and compression
  • how individual differences affect practice

This gives you a strong foundation to teach with clarity, safety, and respect for the body in front of you.

Energy, Meridians and the Five Elements

Yin Yoga works not only with the body – but also with energy.

You will be introduced to:

  • Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)
  • meridian pathways and energy flow
  • the five elements: wood, fire, earth, metal, and water

Most importantly, you will learn how to translate this knowledge into teaching that feels meaningful, balanced, and grounded.

From Personal Practice to Teaching

The Yin Yoga Teacher Training at Ohm yoga in Copenhagen is both personal and professional.

You will:

  • deepen your own practice
  • develop teaching and communication skills
  • learn how to structure classes with intention
  • discover your own authentic teaching style

The goal is not to copy – but to understand and teach with authenticity.

Final Exam and Certification

As part of the training, you will complete a practical final exam, where you integrate your knowledge and teaching experience. Upon completion, you will receive a Yin Yoga Teacher Training certificate from Ohm yoga, providing you with a strong foundation to teach Yin Yoga.
